Image is everything. A celebrity may appear to be 'sweet' as candy when in the public eye; however, they could be tyrant behind closed doors. You don't spend 24/7 with your favorite celebrity. You don't work for them and have no idea how they treat others. Unless you spend time with your favorite celebrity, you really don't know them.
